In Repose

These figures were observed with deliberate detachment. They capture movement or stillness, the mass and temperature of the form. They seek to explore the relationship between the private world into which the subject has retreated and the expression that the world is given by the pose. The bodies are steeped in the strange otherness of contemplation or sleep.
